TAS now offers theatre classes for ages 4-12! What makes our program different? Our Theatre Foundations class has an educationally-based and skill building focus; meaning that students learn all of the foundational aspects that go into a top-notch stage performance.

About the Class

This new program brings the art of acting on stage. Students learn theater technicals such as stage direction, reading a script, and stage presence. They will broaden their creativity by learning world building, prop usage, and character development. All of this together will help them put on a live show for family & friends at the end of the year.

This class is offered for ages 4-12!

What can students expect?

Theatre Foundations gives students a safe place to grow in their knowledge of theatrical concepts through fast-paced lessons, as well as fun games and exercises in a community of like-minded creatives.

Here at TAS we keep class sizes small to ensure maximum focus on each student. We provide personalized feedback on a regular basis as well as additional resources and support for our students to optimize their overall learning.

At the end of this 32 week course, students will perform a short play for their friends and family to show off what they’ve been learning!
