You did it! You completed your first year of improv. You learned the rules, know the anatomy of an improv scene, made a few people laugh, and impressed yourself with your bravery… what’s next? It’s time to expand your skills, that what!
Improv Expanded is for those who have the basics down and are eager to maximize their performance potential. Make bigger choices, strengthen your comedic timing, try out some of the improv styles you see performed by the pros- but in a safe, and judgement-free environment where everyone is cheering you on!

About the Class
Ages 9-Adult
What To Expect:
- Those who have completed Improv Foundations, or a class equivalent at an accredited acting school
- Those looking to be stretched and challenged in their improv skills
What will you learn?
- Students review the rules of improv and scene layouts while exploring deeper concepts that sharpen an actor’s improv performance.
- Sketch-comedy style character development. Students will create dynamic characters that will show up in different situations that test the actor’s creativity and flexibility.
- Long form improv. Characters are introduced to the advanced concept of Long form improvisation.
